Cabamin is a special product formulated by considering the balance between the calcium and boron demands by the plants.
Calcium content of Cabamin derives from calcium chloride, while boron derives from boron-etonol-amine and their absorbtion have been increased by adding special organic compounds to its content.
Cabamin, which contains 12% CaO and 3% boron, increases the durability and stability of the plant tissues when applied, and makes the fruits harder and more durable. Thus, fruits can be stored for longer period after harvest and shelf life is increased, and physiological disorders can be prevented such as bitter pit in apples and pears, cracks on cherries, blossom end rot in tomato, pepper, and eggplant.
Cabamin also strengthens cell wall, which creates a mechanic resistance mechanism against diseases and pests.
Cabamin, with its special formula and low pH, can be used efficiently in fruit plants after fruit set until harvesting and throughout the growth seasons in edbile leaf vegetables.
