Microlan, with its special Formula containing a special form of kaolin and micro elements, covers the fruits as a thin layer and prevents the problems such as sunburn and rust caused by direct sunlight and excess moisture in fruits.
After the application of Microlan, it decreases the surface temperature of fruit by 4 to 8oC, and because it completely covers the surface of fruit and leaves, it prevents many pests like budworms, aphids and trips from laying eggs. Thus, it also facilitates the fight against pests.
Microlan also stabilizes the calcium in the cell wall with boron in its content and increases the hardness of the fruit flesh. Thus, on the one hand, fruits become more resistant to environmental stresses, on the other hand they are stored for a longer time after harvest and have a higher shelf life.
The kaolin inside Microlan is a completely natural kind of clay mineral and has no harm to human and environmental health.
Microlan should be used periodically in the small fruit period against rust and in the period of fruit growth and ripening against sunburn. This will increase the rate of marketable fruits as well as the quality of the fruit, storage and shelf-life.
